Hello World

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the mass effect community so let me introduce myself.

I'm a researcher in a computer science laboratory and I'm working on the audio (voiced) part of mass effect 3.
I'll be happy to exchange with you about the different voices of the game characters.
Actually, I'm trying to automatically indexing the voice files for each character, but the codename used to represent voice files gave me a headache. I hope some of you could help.

Thank
adrien

Welcome!

What is this project for, the sake of convenience for everyone or is it for a mod idea? :)

Hi

actually it's a scientific project and it deals with our perception of voice in video games. I do not plan to build a mod unfortunately, I just need some information about the game's characters and their voices.

Welcome, and depending on what exactly you get, I might be very interested in your results. Because listening to all the lines and then manually typing quotes for hundreds was a bit time consuming.

Thank you !

Deager, my project does not aims to make automatic transcription, sorry.
For you to save some time, you may use an automatic speech transcription system, and just make an overall review instead of manually typing all the lines.
