I have been fixing a bug in my controller mod (it looks more like a feature from looking at the code), where if you are using the non-pc interface controller class for the SP pause menu, pressing Y activates the in game property editor. I have seen this referenced in a few areas, but have no idea what it is. I've looked at the code and it doesn't activate if it is in shipping or demo mode, so patching that out should force it to load, but all it does is softlock my game. Anyone have any ideas on this? A cursory google search shows a google doc that says how to enable it in ME2, but there's no documentation on what it does.
