1. put this in your me2.exe folder
1b. make a shortcut if you like and always start me2 with it
2.it starts, calculates the hashes and authorizes whatever dlc is present
3.it starts me2 and disappears

Does this work with Origin? I'm running the DLC Unlocker as an administrator, but I still get a dialog when I get into the main menu saying the I have unauthorized DLC, such as the Terminus Armor, Sentry Interface, Umbra Visor and Recon Hood.

I own all DLC except those four, and thought I could try installing them (downloaded them from Bioware's servers) to see if this worked.

what does the unlocker say?

greetz WV

PS: you can do this on commandline to get the output in a file (or write a bat file):
ME2DLCUnlocker.exe > log.txt

PPS:if you use original exe, it could be that it checks the DLC again ingame, so better use a crack for compare test

I use the original exe, wouldn't it lose the point if I test this with a crack?

I can't see what's written in the command line since it appears that ME2DLCUnlocker.exe opens a separate process and I can't reach the output. The best I could do was to take a quick screenshot:

with only a cracked exe, you can play without origin/disc, it still doesnt override the DLC check itself, so instead it computes the right keys. but when the game starts (and together with it origin), it rechecks again online if you are authorized for the DLC and Bioware will surely tell the game that you havent bought the DLC, thus the message. and yeah, it makes a difference

Just for the records, you don't need cracked exe to avoid DVD check.
You just need to use this on the Origin version. Which in turn can be directly "obtained" from DVD version with this (or just download it from there)
