gosredirector packet select usage of ssl, better have a look at that packet first. as you are on ps4, you cant change the game code, so you cant crack the ssl away, only hope would be it sends the redirector packet already unencrypted

if I change the port to 443 on the defaultconfig.txt, shouldn't I be able to see the traffic in the proxy?

Code: Select all
443;gosredirector.ea.com;159.153.235.22;certs\ssl-gosredir.pfx;ssl3.0

Host file:
Code: Select all
127.0.0.1    gosredirector.ea.com

I changed the code in the proxy server to make port 42127 bind on a specific IP instead of localhost. While watching wireshark it makes a successful connection and then it goes to gosca.a.com on port 44125. Do I need to proxy that server as well?

you dont really seem to know what you do here, so I give up. port 443 *IS* SSL port, and I guess you dont have the keys from ea to sign the certification for establishing a connection, thats why your proxy fails, because the client cant verify the ssl certificate of ea servers.

again

you said, you try to work on PS4? the redirector packet was your only chance, because sometimes devs forget to enable ssl on it (or whatever) and you could force traffic to use no ssl and make a proxy. as your game uses ssl from beginning and you cant access the games memory on the PS4 to crack it away, this is pretty much the end. unless you can crack a ps4 game, I dunno about ps4 modding, sry

PS: I must admit you came pretty close to achieving it, but thats a total roadblock, sry
