Windows 7 Testing

Postby KFreon » 04 Jan 2016, 22:21

I've been made aware of some strangeness regarding the texture stuff for those on Windows 7 and lower.
Unfortunately, I don't have proper access to Windows 7 to do testing, so I've done what testing I can and built a test case.

HERE

If people with Windows 7 can test using the files/info from this bug report, that'd be great.

I had some time today between courses and thought I'd test it out. The previews are back to normal. Tested on Win7x64. Nice to see me3explorer working without a tree too^^.

Excellent. Thanks Creeper.
I'll give it a few more days then I'll make it a proper release.
So does this fix a bunch of those weird bugs on git?

You mean all the preview problems ? I suppose it does, haven't tried them all out though.

autofixing textures causes me3 explorer to crash.

I was not able to retrieve anything from the debug window since that had crashed as well but maybe the windows log will help

This is certainly not the right thread to post a bug report. Either post in the bug reports section or on github. And please give more details, ie which texture you were trying to autofix, with which Windows version. Also upload the said texture for us to test it out.
