Update Version0107 / rev 619 @ ME3 DLCEditor2

Postby WarrantyVoider » 06 Mar 2014, 01:18

added delete file function to dlceditor2 , so you can test out "unpacking" dlcs, by extracting them to their internal pointed path and delete the copy in the sfar, worked for this .cnd file and ofc my testlevel pcc. Seems to work as long as they are referenced by PCConsoleTOC.bin :D

well heres what you can *try* : if your dlc is over 2gb, extract the biggest file (usually the tfc) and then delete it inside the sfar. be sure to match the path the file has inside the dlc. this way the dlc should shrink (deletion automatically triggers rebuild) and the game should still play, otherwise repeat until under 2gb. it worked so far, but I dont have much time for testing. Ottemis seemed to have tested it positive with the tfc from EC

if you are the guy from nexus, its probably better to wait until we make a tool for it... otherwise yes, and its not much tested, you should extract them in the folderstructure like it says in dlc, if a folder doesnt exist, create it

Yeah, it's me, the total noob.
I'll just use my backups then.
I really did made bad backups, I made them after m3explorer stopped working while installing Ottemis mods, they were actually installed even tough it crashed, I guess they really were corrupted AND oversized.

Anyway, congratualations for the many stuff you already got through to mod these awesome games, hope this one works too.
